Gutterslut/Disco Bloodbath

Two of the East End’s best nights back to back on the Shoreditch-Dalston-Shecklewell axis (AKA the A10 or thereabouts)… pix here and here… [Gutterslut door-bitch superstar James Randall shown above]

Tokyo…

Thanks to Eyjafjallajökull, I’ve been stranded in Tokyo since 20 April, waiting on a flight to get back to London. Apart from it being very difficult to get on with the day job, having unexpected time in my favourite city has been a joy. I’ve bought an Olympus E-P2, as I really need something a little less conspicuous than my D300 for the occasions when big camera kit is simply not going to get thru the door at clubs or events. And come along to the launch party at the Queen of Hoxton on October 16th — Faze Action (Live), Crazy P (Live / DJ Set), Severino, Sean Brosnan, Matty J provide the music for what should be a big night. As with the first Future Disco compilation, …

HMD interview on RA…

Good interview with the ever-charming Jim and James from HMD in Resident Advisor today. Nice that they’ve also used one of my photos from the mayhem that was Horse Meat’s 2008 NYE party at Cargo…

Horse Meat Disco Album Launch Party

It’s out! Available at all the usual places, online and off. Get yourself a copy. The launch party was held last night at — of course — The Eagle in Vauxhall. Some photos from the event here. Also a reminder that I’ve put together a little slideshow of the photos HMD and label Strut commissioned from me for the release.
