Diva at Vogue Fabrics

Monday is always a quiet night — nice to see Vogue livening things up with a one-off showcase featuring Lavinia Co-Op, A Man To Pet, MJ Woodbridge and NYC legend Joey Arias, all hosted by Jonny Woo. Excellent.

Lovebox 2011 — Sunday

A lovely day in the park (between the torrential showers which appear to have killed the external power pack for my flash), spent backstage with (and in the wings of main stage to shoot) Feral AKA MC Kinky (above — check her bash-tastic new track TWEET RETWEET on Soundcloud) and Jonny Woo, Bourgeois and Maurice and friends, then backstage for the afternoon at the ever-loving NYC Downlow. An excellent day, well-spent. Thanks as always to Lovebox’s Adrian Fillary for AAA press pass, to Scottee for artist passes, and to Caron, Jonny, Liv and George, and to all the Downlow crew …

The Royal Dalston Hotel

Lyall caught the pop-up bug, and themed Vogue Fabrics upstairs and down as The Royal Dalston Hotel for a limited season of performances and club nights. Last night, Scottee was taking confessions and secrets upstairs, whilst Jonny Woo (above) was mixing it up with Kurt Weill’s Pirate Jenny down in the basement. Some pix here…

Gay Bingo at the ICA

The last ever Gay Bingo at the ICA (according to Jonny, shut down due to complaints from the Queen herself. Maybe). 3D-themed, crowded and ridiculously fun. As always. Pix here.

A Festive Happening

The very talented Jonny Woo (above), Scottee, Bourgeois and Maurice, together on stage in their Christmas show at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Brilliant. Pix here.
