Helen Noir’s I’m Nothing I’m Nobody

Helen Noir -- I'm Nothing, I'm NobodyAfter four years shooting at UNDERCONSTRUCTION, I’ve ended up actually involved in the production of a performance. I’m working with Helen Noir [above] to develop the lighting and effects for her upcoming show I’m Nothing, I’m Nobody, at Bistrotheque, 14th June, 2011. Helen describes the show:

‘I’m Nothing I’m Nobody’ is about bitterness, longing and belonging and is written for Helen Noir’s trademark operatic vocals — in this case, original music in the style of a Baroque aria — alongside a dance-influenced soundtrack.

For Underconstruction, Helen will present a fragment of this work, still in progress as befits the theme of the evening, and will also showcase the results of her recent experiments with lighting, for which she has collaborated with Underconstruction resident photographer and supergeek Darrell Berry. Together they have created bespoke lighting including a laser show that fits in a handbag.

Please come on the 14th June, and see what we’ve been up to. It’s the last night of the current UNDERCONSTRUCTION series, and we plan to go out with something quite special.
